CONGRATS TO CASSADEE'S CHASER T-SHIRT WINNERS

Thanks to everyone who participated in this contest. We asked you all to create a simple 2-4 line poem using part of the lyrics from Hey Monday's How You Love Me Now song and leave a comment on one of the pictures in this gallery (http://heymonday-cassadeeintees.buzznet.com/user/photos/) with your poem.

Here are the 3 Grand Prize Winners who will be receiving 3 chaser t-shirts just like the ones Cassadee wears.

musicaleigh:
It's finally clear,
There's nothing left to see here,
You blurred the lines until there was no more you and I,
Now all that's left are our final goodbye's.

clandestinexx1:
You know we were never right
So why go and waste your breath?
It's not important to me,
What goes on in your silly little head

desertdancerdhs:
I don't know what else to do
I don't know what else to say
You're racing through my red lights
But people brake that law everyday

From Elliot's Blog: This is why Andrew Keller is undoubtably one of the coolest...

This is why Andrew Keller is undoubtably one of the coolest people i know. Sometimes i think he has a secret crew of inter web elfs who slave and slave while he’s out partying to the town finding cool things on the internet that I’m into then send them to me from his desk, first class, with love. And with no surprise i wake up this morning to find he’s come across a DIY Shack Shake replica instruction manuel thats Elliot proof. Let me say this bluntly… I can’t wait. I’ve spent years on an Indian Jones style scavenge for the, lets go with “the best burger”. Whilst most places don’t create anything that looks out of the ordinary, every once in a while my palate comes across something thats out of this world. First off, Mike Berlin has a recipe he’s been working on for decades probably, and quite rightly, he’s made something untouchable for people seeking his secrets. But Mike’s isn’t public yet either. Which may be a good thing, i don’t think the world is ready for it. Shake Shack in Madison Square Park, NY however have truly done something right. Keller first turned me onto this best kept secret when we were in New York last summer recording Hold On Tight. If you’ve never heard/had Shake Shack, get out of from under the rock you’ve been salivating in, because this is what you’ve been waiting for.

Also, their shakes are quite possibly packaged cups of heaven itself. Even something as simple as the “Chocolate Shake” has become a complex entity. As you taste the devine nectar for the first time you’ll feel like your sucking on the udder of a chocolate cow with flakes of chocolate tree bark thrown in. Stop me if this is getting to graphic. Who can vouch for me on this? Anyway, here’s what Keller found, enjoy!

From Elliot's Blog: I AM FULL OF INDIFFERENCE

There’s no place like home. Fun fact, thats been my security question for years on all my online sites. It’s been quite refreshing to be home this past week or so and breathe again. Got my head back above water and below again. Lived on the beach tasting the salt in my teeth. Played music with a bunch of different friends down here just to play and full around. Judged the Atticus battle of the bands finale. Cooked fish and steaks with my dad. Picked my mum up from the airport back from her trip to Hong Kong. Ate so much Chipotle, sue me. Night prowled, movie hoped, donut taken, cake bakin’. Caught up on some cool new shows. Worked on Blew. Thought about how crazy life is with all its un-expected twists and turns. I think it’s so insane how as humans we can always want such extreme lifestyles. But on the flip side i can want two. Half of me wants what i’ve always wanted, to share myself, my art, my life, and everything i know with as many people as possible. Be in the public eye and make a living off of doing what i love more than anything. Then on the B-side i dream of owning a shell stand on the beach in a country far away and living the simple life by the water with a family and friends. I guess that’s what makes me such a day dreamer. No one says i can’t have both though right? I’m so excited for what comes next. I have so many ideas all the time and things i want to do. The more ideas i have and the more they come to life the more excited i get about just that. Everyone enjoy the rest of your weekend, also, don’t ever be afraid to make plans. It’s nice to have things to look forward too.

Finally, I was just the guy to get off the carousel half way through the ride. Doesn’t matter when i get off if i own the theme park. I can ride anytime i want. And there’s no height restriction on this one.

“Shit, nothing makes sense, so I won’t think about it. I’ll go with the ignorance. I am full of indifference. Taste. I have no taste. I don’t like these tiny portions with your artful abortions of sound, sealed with a kiss, slathered in the sauce sarcastic. So go choke on your irony. The futile, it outweighs the beautiful.”

So i just got these really nifty photo presets from Chris Martin. I took this photo and posted it on here a few weeks ago when i was in England. Look how much better it looks now. I can already tell I’m going to have a lot of fun with these. If you were already thinking about picking these up, now you have my seal of approval to do so!

Latest pieces just added to MILQ! Whether you’re a fan of MJ or JH i think most can agree they had their own image and style and just seem to be nice to look at it. Maybe that’s why Target’s been putting them on t-shirts for so long ha. Two poster pieces in memory of the great artists that paved the way for all of us trying to make it as artists and entertainers.
