A new IKEA opened up by us today, some of us took a trip down there for my last day here. Picked up these guys for 49C, can’t beat quality. Bands picking me up in 2 hours before we make the red eye drive to TN, talk to you from the road everyone. Believers Never Die Tour Part Deux is in the three day countdown. Start the machine. Rawr.

Last night I went to see As Tall As Lions. After a while of playing shows you forget what it’s like to expeiernce it on the other side and I miss that part so much. I’ve known ATAL for years and they were one of the bands I’ve ways looked upto more than anybody since local band days. They just finished recording their 3rd album and it will be out in July. I can honestly say I think it’s one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. Period. And that’s a bold statement so take me up on it. Here’s “To Life” for everyone that was with me last night.

New cases came in today. I’ve got to say, the nicest one is JJ’s guitar station. What more could you want then a power supplies, mini work light, blue suede and an adjustable table. Well played my friend, well played. I think we’re the only band to ever get bright yellow cases, they look like bananas on steroids from far away. Slam dunk.

Last night Ryan, Mitchell, Alex and I were sitting at Five Guys. We started talking about fun pranks we can play on people. We had a few lame ideas before coming up with the idea to post on Tumblr telling everyone to text a certain number; that way their phone would blow up with hundreds of text messages (considering all of us, together, have a decent amount of followers). Success. Thank you all for playing a prank on our friend, Noah. We call him Goofy Noah (he doesn’t take offense, don’t worry). Thanks to you all, he got hundreds of text messages; he had to turn his phone off. He was about to leave for a camping trip, so Ryan had the idea of mentioning “don’t go camping” in the message. It’s kind of like someone coming up to you and saying “don’t get on the plane” before you’re about to board a flight. I don’t know about you, but I’d definitely question getting on the flight. Thanks again for helping us play this little prank on our friend. You guys are awesome and I love you all!

A day like yesterday is something you always dream of happening but never actually think it will and then it does and its more then you could have ever imagined. I never in my wildest dreams thought i’d play a show in the city i was born in. Last night we played at the London O2 Arena. It’s the show I’ve been looking most forward to since the moment I found out we were booked for it. Not only was i born there, my first everything was there. First words, steps, fall, laugh, tantrum, even first show. Michael Jackson. At the former Wembley Stadium and now I’ve played on the same stage he’ll play for his last 10 shows ever this summer. It’s a lot to wrap your mind around…

The whole night centered around family and friends I haven’t seen in years. I can’t describe what it’s like to look out from over that riser and see 15,000 eyes starring right back at you. It’s like electricity. Although the term “don’t drop your sticks” comes to mind. Here’s a video of us walking on. I love you all, each and everyone one of you. And i’ll continue to thank you for the rest of my life, i hope i make you proud.

If you had to pin point one individual who changes the way the industry does things on a daily basis it’s this guy. Kanye makes more growth every album then any other artist around today. He continually finds ways to reinvent himself, over, and over, and over, and over again. So many rappers use an ipod, he has an entire orchestra and band backing him. Singers, string session, brass, dj, percussion and drums. Crazy. My friend sent me this live album of him doing VH1’s Storytellers, after hearing two tracks i had to find videos of it (you’d be surprised how hard that is overseas. So many sites don’t let you stream american content). After a while i found it and sat here studying him. His style, out poor, dialect, and performance. He is a true entertainer. Part of the Storytellers series is having the artist do a lot of in between talking about each song and a deeper insight into them. Anyone who hates Kanye i invite you to check this out, don’t be so closed minded all the time. Thank you for being my motivation and inspiration K.

Like i said the other night this weekend was awesome. Besides getting a new phone which I’m stoked about, i spent time surrounded by the people that matter most. We shot the video in 2 days and got everything we needed. It was great to have Rohan, Milo and Bret down. Chris was also down from Orlando so we took some shots from FriendsOrEnimies which will be up soon. I flew Tayler down from Philli and I’m still trying to decide what was better, the sushi in gardens or the midnight antics. Last night was awesome and it wasn’t even trying to be. Coffee with some of your closet friends on any given cold night is bliss. Chris, Ryan, Stephanie, Mike, Cameron, Mitch, Karen, i love you all. My dad just walked in, i love him too. We leave for the UK tomorrow, everyones gunna be all together again. Seeing family and friends i haven’t seen in years. Good times to come.

Elliot dragged me to see He’s Just Not That Into You, again. Don’t get me wrong, I love the movie; but that was my third time seeing it. Pretty funny story to go along with our night though…

First of all, we were the only ones about to buy tickets and they had the line ropes out (acting like it was super busy, when it wasn’t; at all). I couldn’t help but think of the Kevin James skit as Elliot and I looked like idiots walking back and forth just to buy our tickets. When we finally get to the dude selling the tickets, Elliot says “One for He’s Just Not That Into Me”. After realizing what he had just said, he started laughing. I started laughing as well. The guy who was selling us our tickets, who just so happened to be gay, said “Yeah, I feel you on that!”. He then asked Elliot “Did you say you just needed one ticket - or two?”. He thought Elliot and I were on a date. I guess it was kind of a “you had to be there” moment, but still funny nonetheless.

I also finally watched Slumdog Millionaire today with Bre. Really great movie. Except for the part where it was time for the credits, but then suddenly all the characters from the movie just started dancing out of nowhere. It felt like I was watching a Shakira music video. Kind of an awkward moment if you ask me.
