Just kidding, you’d believe me if it was though right? We just landed here from our take off this morning in London. In an 45 minutes we’re going on another nine hour flight to Osaka. I’ve missed you Japan, but not the ride to you. Even though i’ve gotten some much needed kick back time. Listened to some new albums i’ve been trying to get to all month, watched a movie or two, nothing ground breaking though, shared good words with Pamela and Randy on their 55th wedding anniversary, got Starbucks and Burger King which were written in a completely different language but still tasted so good. (EDIT - I’ve learned that it was Arabic), went to the bathroom, changed my socks, drank water upside down, just kidding, pay attention, the compressed airplane air is turning me into a lose canon. No bomb talk allowed in airports, forget that. Their probably reading my computer screen right now—

Last night was the last full show of tour, unfortunately Hey Monday had to leave this morning to fly to Japan so they can’t play the official last show :(  I always get bummed out on the last day and now we have to say bye to our new friends Out Of Sight.  So that is 2 separate good-byes that we have to endure!!

Cassadee, Elliot, Jersey, Mike, Alex, JJ, and Duncan you will be missed….but I love you guys and I’ll see you this fall ;)

We just got back from the VUE on our day off. We’re doing the whole family fun day thing. After an intense game of bowling where the MVP of the day was pronounced Scoot i know that i definitely need to put some more time into my roll. Playing no bumpers is hard. The movie was five stars in my book. It had two twists, action scenes, great plot and Mr. Hanks himself, what’s not to like? Best part is I didn’t even read the books or see the Da Vinci Code and i still new what was going on, heaven. Isn’t it the worst feeling when you walk out a movie theater at sunny day time and come out and the night struck the skyline and it’s pouring. Sweet. We waited for a bit in the lobby of the mall for it too slow down, eventually god kicked out because the mall was closed and then made the dreaded walk. I talk to you now from the warm dry hotel lobby where we’re surrounded by good friends, good conversations, good food, and Arrested Development in ten minutes son!

Here’s proof that i did reunite with my band and the kings boys in the UK. We’ve had an amazing past three days including the Slam Dunk festival in Leeds yesterday where we gotta to see our homeboys (and girl) in Cobra Starship. Today’s our one and only day off while we’re here and I’m sitting here in the hotel lobby with Travis paying more money for internet than you pay for your cell phone every month. We’re either going bowling or to the movies tonight. It’ll probably be decided by a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors… as most things are. How come anytime you’re looking for something to do someone always goes “well we could go bowling?”, am i right or am i right?

So today we flew from Tampa, Florida to Newark, New Jersey to Glasgow, Scotland and it has been a wild adventure right off the bat.

I sat in an aisle seat on the 7 hour flight to the UK, Hunter sat to my left and everyone else around me decided to use my chair as a crutch haha.  I swear every time I closed my eyes and really went to sleep another person would shake the top of my chair for fear of falling down.  Every cart that passed through the aisle hit my elbow and every older lady on the plane on the way to the bathroom scraped their body on my face as they passed by.  I thought I was going to go crazy!!  Finally, we landed and noticed that Hey Monday, the band we were traveling with, had forgotten their drummer Elliot at the airport…  Straight home alone style…Elliot if you’re reading this, I hope you got on the next plane over :)  We exited the airport and loaded our baggage into our home on wheels for the next 2 weeks.  It’s absolutely amazing, except I’m kind of tall and it’s one of the double decker buses so each level is short and I hit my head on everything.

The best part about all of this is that it’s NOT RAINING IN SCOTLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER THAT WE’VE BEEN HERE!!!!!!!  Since I don’t really know what to do or where to go, I’ll probably just walk around all day and explore.

Also Danny made a really funny video of our travel day, I’ll get him to post it ASAP!  As long as there is internet I will continue to post details of our journey Across the Pond.

Daily Advice:

this is more of a note to self….but….Don’t jam American plugs into English outlets.  They definitely don’t fit and they will ruin all of your electronics!

Oh yeah, and we’re leaving for the UK on tour with We The Kings in .42 hours (thats 42 minutes in military time fool).

Everyone meet my bud Reptar. He’s got true boston blood running through him and he’ll out eat you any day of the week. He runs the SJC shop and holds down the fort while Mike’s out with Thrash Unreal. Find the light Shi and rest peacefully. Don’t worry about a thing, cus every little thing is gunna be alright.

Can’t beleive I’m back right now, even though it’s only for 24 hours, I’m trying to do things i wouldnt normally do. Like take a bath… I haven’t slept since last night when we flew in. We go to the UK tomorrow, until then I’ll be at the beach. And buying Jeremy Ray Bans apparently. Which reminds me, I’m at his place right now taking a trip down memory lane. So just like that it’s over. The one tour none of us ever wanted to end. It’s a funny thing when i think back to how long I’ve actually been into Fall Out Boy and now here I am, after a 4 month world tour with them, it finally hit me tonight that it actually happened. I’m ready to wake up now. We haven’t been on the radar for long enough to have merit when we say this is the best tour we’ve ever been on, but when every band on the bill says “this is the best tour we’ve ever been on” you know there’s gotta be something to it. There’s a reason why even 3 hours after the last song and all the goodbyes, photos, drinks, and lovin we’re all already texting each other. I could have done this tour every day for the rest of my life and never gotten over it. There was always something to do, someone to hang with, and we never did the same thing twice. (Other than some fireworks and ATL dance parties but come on, thats how you start traditions, give us a break). There’s no need to name drop on this one, you all know who you are. Every single person on BND, we’re one big infested family. Every tech, lighting, sound, merch, DJ, 50, bandy, TM, stage manager, loader, driver, cook, security, guy and girl, you’re all beautiful in my book. Believers never die, this is forever.

P.S. - We the committee under MVP had some limited edition first time ever yearbooks printed on this one. Priceless. I don’t think you’ll ever come by one of these, however if you do, take a good long look, those aren’t frowns. The freshman adjustment has been made, now lets graduate.
