Dear Elliot,  shocked and saddened by the death of Michael Jackson…I know how much you loved and respected him and I remember how you brilliantly dressed up and danced to his music when you were so little.  I also remember here in Lanzarote in my early years how whenever we went to a disco and as soon as they started to play “Billie Jean” we just had to get up and dance. I always say I hate Florida and I can’t wait to move north and escape this humid nightmare but everytime I go to the beach I remember how lucky I am. That’s all for now. Oh yeah one more thing. I know that I am real. I can see around me right now. What’s in front of me right now, I know that’s real. This is real. My friend sent me these pictures. And for the first time in a while and look and these and remember these. I remember those times. I remember wearing that shirt, and tasting that ice cream. I know what it was like being there on the edge with those people and knowing them how i knew them then, and how i know them now. I know that that was real. But when i really think about being then and there. When that was happening i was still looking at myself and the hands in front of me and coming to terms with reality right there. That was real also. How can i know what is around me now to be completely real when tomorrow it will just be a memory. It was real. I can’t grasp age yet. How do people actually get older. Its crazy. We exist as this small little thing and be kids and see the world in one outrageous way, then we actually grow up to survive in the outrage. I wanna see the world the way i saw it then. In front of me, around me, wearing me and tasting it all the way it was. Again. Even if it is just memory. I know i appreciated it then. Freedom. I’d appreciate it more now. I wanna get back. I always wanna be a kid at heart. And never grow up.

Pushing Daisies. Dang. I’ve got one episode left and I almost don’t wanna watch it because I never want this to end. I’m going out tomorrow and buying both seasons. I wanna relive it all again. I think I like it so much because obviously its got a great story line but the imagery is so unique and stunning. They’re able to make it look so fake and real at the same time and make a show look so peaceful and lushes yet the whole show is satiric and dark with twisted characters and abrupt events. What I really dig most about it though is how much I can invest my self in Ned’s character. Think about it. You lost your mom to death by fait at a young age. You discover that by touching anything living once you can bring it back to life, but touch it again and it dies. However, there’s still more rules. Keep it alive for more than a minute and something else relative in proximity dies too. Creating an everlasting chain of deaths, if you allow it. Then you’re childhood sweet heart, the most perfect girl in your universe to you is murdered and you bring her back to life to find out who killed her, only you don’t want to touch her again because you want her to stay in your life. So you make more rules, you only let your closest friends know she’s still alive. She can’t tell her family, yet she wants to live her life as normally as possible. And they continue to fall back into love, like they used. And their love is pure and organic.

But I try to really think about being in that situation. Imagine being in love, like really deeply in love, not sand box love but in love-love. But never being able to touch. I love that they kiss each other through sheets of saran wrap, and wear gloves in the winter so they can hold hands. But wow, never being able to actually touch. That would be the hardest thing. So what I’m asking is to seriously, think long and deep and really consider it and then tell me in actual honestly, could you do it?

The people that started this train of of funk and soul that are the reasons why all your favorite bands and writers make music are bring it all back again. This is the renaissance of the 21st century. A rebirth in art. Fueling the fire and igniting the air and streets with something fresher then fresher and fresher than perez. We are the voices of a new generation, stop the hesitation, kick it and fix it with us, open your ears and mind so a genre of music lost in time. Kanye and B play that track one more time.
